I am placing thread here because it is not completely a complement and I do not want to displace the existing complement thread. I bought the new app yesterday and have played around with it a bit. Did not save any of my experimentation's.
I have been waiting it seems forever for it to come available and bought it immediately. Am extremely grateful that it has hit the market. My site desperately needs a rebuild and this is what it has been waiting on and can now commence.
I chose to remove the purchase of the templates offered or automatically put up when clicking on the buy now click. I cannot seem to be able to buy them or find out what they are separately without buying them right when purchasing the responsive application. Some info on this would be appreciated.
My existing sites slide shows examples of painting jobs completed uses swf. files, shockwave flash files. the shockwave flash files seem to be responsive, when I open one and shrink down the browser size the page on display responds to the shrinking web browser pg. Cool, but I do not know what devices they will display on. Need to find out what to replace these files with on the new rebuilt site. Am asking for suggestions on this matter.

Hi Greg,

There are many choices out there when it comes to galleries. I believe CC has a HTML5 photo gallery software (or at least they used to) that publishes straight to S-Drive. This will be viewable on all mobile devices.

If you do not have an S-Drive hosting account (I do not) then my choice would be to use a WOW Slider for sliding galleries and Visual Lightbox for Thumbnail galleries. And they work very nicely in the responsive environment.

If you would like to see one live in action you can click on my website in the signature. I recently updated my website using RLMP.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your response to my thread Steve. I have bookmarked your response and will refer to it for sure when I get to the making of the slide show pages of my site rebuild. Oh yes, my site is on the S-drive.

Just so you understand Greg, you have to have a paid S-Drive account for the HTML photo gallery. Doesn't work with the FREE account. FLASH (you .swf files) will need to be converted to movie files (avi, mov, etc...) then can be added to your site using a variety of HTML5 video players. FLASH will not show on most tablets and phones (ipones, ipads and such mostly).

If you don't want to purchase a slider there's many free ones out there Greg. I just don't know how much fluff you want with your images. They're fairly easy to customize. If you see yourself not wanting to hand code at all I think the WOW is the best choice.:) Definitely steer away from flash or hand code alternate content.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I have the coffee cup photo gallery software if it has anything to do with anything.
I made all of the swf slide shows with open office . org
I prefer if possible to do the slide shows with photo gallery slide shows rather than movies but i will use the movie formats if I must.
I bought 16 gigs of 2133 Mhz memory for my computer several months ago and a 3 tera byte sata 3 hard drive and a 256 Gbyte solid state drive. I am operating with vista. i plan to buy windows 7 and install all of the new hardware and then start on rebuilding the site so it will be a couple of days before I get to the rebuilding the site.
If it is better for me to get win 8 please let me know before i buy the new operating system.
