I agree with the others. It has been a year and RED Business has been at 1.3 during this time and the regular RED is just now released its version 2.0.

One would think that RED Business would be this company's flagship software for responsive email development and the consumer version would just be a limited version of it. One would also think that the customers who paid more for the business version would be given priority for updates because this version is commonly used to generate revenue for email developers.

This type of version updates tells me the company seems to more focused on just selling more licenses than supporting the development community to provide tools to help developers, (many freelance) work quicker, smarter and generate revenue faster. While providing the developer's clients with a quality product. It seems this company is more concerned with selling licenses to DIY users.

Finally, I must mention that since I have been waiting for an update and bug fixes for the business version, I have stopped using this product and went back to hand coding my HTML emails. Mainly because I wasted more time debugging the code errors that this software would spit out. On a positive note, I did take away some code ideas that improved my own hand coded emails.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
