Making the Leap to a Daytime TV...

Well... shooting began yesterday for a daytime TV commercial that will be airing in a couple of weeks locally in Omaha. I've been grinding the numbers for months and looking forward (hopefully) to the outcome. We're doing brand and product promotion and I think the commercial is a good mix for both. The actors were awesome, but we have one more scene and the couple to be in it bailed so we have to find some more peeps to do it.

The below pic is the set with the actors and the production director (Rick who is awesome also). The Coffeecup HTML editor is also playing a role because the splash page (from a previous post) was designed with it and is what the visitor will see when the commercial runs.

Thanks James and Steve. I'm NOT in the commercial by the way-I want to get clients and not scare them off, lol. ..and you know, I really don't have it figured out by doing this. It's somewhat of a crap-shoot. You target your demographic, you find the media that targets your demographic, and then shop outlets that are within budget to *hopefully* get some kind of ROI.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Good point Eric, I take most calls right now, but will probably forward them my semi-virtual staff so they help. :)

I have a lot of 'virtual help'. But they are never very helpful!

I got lucky with mine Gunsmoke. The staff serves around 300 companies where I am located at, but most of the time I am working from home so that's why they are virtual. They have totally rocked though when I need something when meeting with a client.

Something that will need to change is the sound effects for my chat widget. When I have a visitor, a monkey screams and when someone sends me a message in chat, a whip cracks...needs to change. :D
