I've noticed when exporting that some CC products such as RLMP use a standard "My Computer" window that shows folders and files. Other CC products such as MB, FB and BB use a folder tree. I'm wondering why the programmer chooses a folder tree for some and the "My Computer" version for the other. Is there a benefit for one over the other given a particular situation?

I think RLM might be built that way because you are typically exporting a root directory.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
