Hi everybody from dark rainy miserable Bali.

I am getting away from it all for Christmas & New Year, I can't stand Bali at this time of year, full of idiot tourists (mostly young school leavers) causing trouble, and other stuff, so I am off into the deepest darkest depths of Indonesia until the New Year, I'm going to visit my adopted family of Orang Utan's (apparently according to the park rangers that patrol the island where they are, they are coming everyday to the waters edge looking for me (little bit late this year in going).

There is no Internet access in that area and it is a 4 hour journey by boat and land rover to the nearest place that has Internet, so won"t be around so much.

So all that leaves me to do now is wish all of you that do celebrate it A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

No cameras allowed, in fact there is hardly any human contact allowed,, the rangers are very strict with this and anyone entering the park (let alone the island with the family) without the proper authority will and have been shot. Poachers are a big thing still, only last week the rangers shot 3 poachers, who had the skin and other bits of 2 female orang utan's.

there is plans for a documentary to be done in the near future, will keep you posted on that when it's happenned
