Yeah I know what you mean,

I just don't feel i'm at the level yet to be selling my services..

I can read CSS3, and HTML 5 and know what it does, but when it comes to writing code from scratch I have writers block.

I know what you're thinking, just use the programs do the work for you, but I want to write from scratch. I feel that if you invest enough time and energy into your designs and build a rep for having some bad ass websites you can accomplish anything.
With the change to responsive design, everything that i've learned has basically been altered once again, and now I have to change with the tide.
But i'm not at that level yet, I just read code right now, not write code. :)

No I think that's a very professional attitude, I do think that, I don't mean any offence to anyone here, but that web designers should be able to know the basics of at least HTML and CSS, you don't have to be able to write "World of Warcraft" or even program (I'm from the school of thought that HTML and CSS aren't programming languages) but know the fundamentals. In time you might want to do that

...here, now you can create that site while I make us some coffee.

Inger, have you thought about starting a website delivery service? Maybe you could partner with a pizza delivery?
Too funny
