HTML Editor seems to work okay, but DirectFTP is crashing. Am using real version of WIn7 64-bit Ultimate (not a beta or release candidate)
Any thoughts?

Hello,
Windows 7 is not going to be released until October 22, so you must be using either a Beta version or the Release Candidate. Because it hasn't been officially released yet, we do not support it at this time (only XP and Vista). Also, our software hasn't been designed to run on any 64-bit operating systems, so that could be another reason why DirectFTP isn't working for you.

I am running 64-bit Vista and I hate it. I was going to convert to Win7 but I can't afford to have none of my coffeecup software work. I can wait a little while. Will the software eventually work on Win7?
I have tested all of our software under Windows 7 and never had any issues. Once it is officially released, we will do a re-check of our software and update our Website for the products that we know are fully compatible.

Maybe one day someone will explain why we even NEED Windows 7 ?
Many folks that upgraded from XP to Vista suddenly found that lots of scanners and other peripherals failed to work and that no enhanced drivers were available. Some days I think that Microsoft has completely lost the plot.
Multi tasking is a way of life for me, contrary to whatever my girlfriend may say. :-)

Just an FYI - I Installed Win7 Pro x64 and HTML Editor seems happy at least with everything I've tried. Except it still can't fix my screw-ups ... maybe next version
And by the way, I'm lovin Win7 so far.

Using trial VSD downloaded a few days ago. (lookin' good) NO problems with my WIN 7 32 bit real version) MS downloaded or clued me to download all upgrades and updates for my devices. Mouse, Printer, Scanner all two or more yrs old and all with new drivers, etc. Win security and program updates (especially Windows Defender) updating almost every day. The VSD working well. Haven't tried the HTML Editor yet though. In any case, WIN 7 is no problem here once I learned to back down to the Windows default font size. I had tweaked it to larger size as my resolution is 1280x1024. But the Tool menus were incomplete until I changed back to default font size of 100%.
Creation never ceases.
