I have just completed my first web page and now am looking to "add" stuff, one of it being a guestpage. I was excited when i read that you were thinking of doing this - but that was 3 years ago ! the majority of web pages have a comments or guestpages and im so upset that you havent !

Tell me its coming within the next week ...... :)

Hi guys . . . . . . How about this one?

http://www.efreeguestbooks.com/

See what you think of this website. Free and will have ad(s) on the page. To not show ad(s) on the guestbook pages. You pay a small fee.

Say "Bike Mike World" sent you.

I love CoffeeCup. Since CoffeeCup has no guestbook software out yet.Can use this for now.

You don't

unzip the folder

upload all the files to your server using ftp to something like public_html/guestbook

so it will be at www.yourwebsite/guestbook

now i am trying to remember how to get to the admin login MMMMMMMM il get back when i find it

Thanks JC, thing is I want it on my web page design, if I send it direct to the server wont it load onto the web page without a "specific" page ?

If you look on my web page - www.saithstud.com - you will see I have a set design for each page ? Or being totally non techie - am I just not saying the right things here !

When you reply - you have to answer like im learning it for the first time - funny that - I am !

Take care and thanks

it will be http://www.saithstud.com/ whatever you call it

ie http://www.saithstud.com/comments

and it will look exactly like this http://www.phpjunkyard.com/gbook/gbook.php (their demo)

but someone more savy than me would know how to change the colours to match your site better though they are quite close anyway

but i still cant work out how to get admin when installed via ftp

YES PLEASE!!!!!!

The sidecar club members are screaming at me for a guestbook. Can't find a decent one, that is available for purchase at a reasonable price.

I Love your software

We are a tiny club, your Coffee Cup has given me the ability to place a website online on a limited budget. (And very limited knowledge on my behalf, a volunteer, who sort of got volunteered )

All of the above suggestions are great.

Phil i have updated on my own thread, in form builder thread, ( Help for setting up a feedback form ) but i found this yesterday seems to be a recent addition in my hosting .

I have set one up on my website last night, doese exactly what i was after, so i am hoping CC with have a look and see if they can come up with a more user friendly (IN MY CASE IDIOT PROOF) version.

I agree that a CC guestbook would be a good thing. Since it doesn't look like we're getting one anytime soon, I endorse this option. phpjunkyard is an easy to setup, easy to use guestbook. At least on a linux server. I haven't tried it on a windows server, but if you have php installed it should work fine.

All though I am proficient in setting up previously coded php I would welcome and purchase CoffeeCup guestbook software. ;)
