I know this has been revisited a bazillion times, but right now there is less than a handful of viable solutions for a simple forum. Most of the freeware-opensource isn't that great, and the paid solutions can get really expensive...a really good slot to offer forum software that's reasonable, w/o the pain of not having enough to paying every time you sneeze.

Hi Mr. Kirk,
Until CC comes up with a simple forum solution check this out
http://www.simpleforumphp.com/
I have used it on many occasions. Very affordable (1 time pay), very simple to install and has a great admin section.
Try SMF forums, much more versatile, still free and you can actually create an entire website portal using it and quite easily I might add. Simple is nice, but "too" simple is a bit too hard to manage if there aren't enough security features built in etc.

I agree. The next software I wanna see from CC is a mini forum.
Something even like what ebay has where you can have customers leave a public comment of about two sentences long. Even just to start then they can build it to a larger forum. I would love to have that for my little site where the customer can leave remarks about my product rather than just filling out a webform comment note directly to me.
Ok, CC employees, you now have a new assignment. Let's see what ya 'all come up with. Yeehawww.
