CSS Question #2

Hi Everyone,

I am going back and forth with the Stylesheet maker and HTML editor as I want to learn the basics for each. Anyway, I need help with the CSS. I heard that making a CSS website is better because you can just change what you need to change on one page and it changes it for the rest so that's what I am doing.

Now, the question is this... I can't get my logo to show on my page is there some reason why not? It shows the x and the alt wording but nothing else. I don't know why I am having such problems with the pictures on my websites. Thanks in advance for your help!

1. make sure you have uploaded the actual graphic file to your website.
2. make sure the path to your graphic file is correct.

Hi Mike,

Thanks. I thought I had uploaded it to the site but I guess I didn't. How will I do that in the stylesheet maker? I have only been using that today. When you talk about the graphic file are you talking about the name and location of the file? Thanks in advance.

Stylesheet maker can't be used to upload. You need to upload using your favorite FTP program.

Yes, when I say path that means the name & location of the graphic file.
e.g. if you have source="/images/graphic.gif" then the web site must have a subdirectory "images" and your actual graphic file placed in this subdirectory.
