Hello,

Just starting out and learned some basic frames, and now I keep seeing references to CSS having superceded frames, etc. Could someone point me in the direction of a good (simple) example of this, or better yet, a quick explanation?

What I'm trying to accomplish is maintain and expand this website: http://highpower.milanuk.net

Thanks,

Monte

Hello Monte,
I use HTML Editor, and never use frames (partly because I don't like seeing nor creating them) so can only give you help with the use of tables. The guy to find for CSS is Mike Crone who is an absolute wizard and will be able to point you in the direction of some useful information, and probably, simple sites to give you a demonstration of the CSS results.
If you want some help with tables and content, give me a shout.

Sheeesh, I'm gonna get a swelled head...

But as Fe Pixie said, check out my site for an intro to CSS.

Also, if you, or anyone wants a basic CSS template,
Here is one I created for another forum.

View page at: http://www.enorc.com/club/index.htm

Download template (CSS & HTML & 1 image) at
http://www.enorc.com/club/centerpage.zip

The template is a full centered page with header,
left navigation panel, right content panel, & a footer that always stays at the bottom of the page.
It is a liquid design meaning it will stretch or shrink to fit any resolution from 800x600 up
