can you preview before up upload to the website?

Yes, you find a preview button in the tool bar.

That was the first thing I tried, it dosn't work.

Sure you can. 
First scan your website and save it. Next create the site map so all files are created. Now you can preview. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

I did all of that but still can't preview. I'll give it another try.
