Thanks Gunsmoke-
Looking for two other things here and found answers on old posts, but maybe updates have changed things?
Is there a way to set the SKU numbers? I found no.
Is there a way to offer a shipping discount? (ex- buy 2 shipping is free for 2nd item) I found a no here too.

Steve-

I don't see that option in SCC. Is that a Pro option only?

Thanks Gunsmoke. I've added stock numbers behind the item description to get around this. Hopefully that will work.
Shipping Discounts- unfortunately with no way to offer discounts customer decided to go to free shipping and raise prices. Anyone wanting a quantity of shirts will have to contact them for discount.

Hiya Tim,

I might suggest taking your stock numbers and placing them at the front of your descriptions with a dash between to separate such as:

FLB126 - Box of 12 chocolate candies.

The reason I say this is because PayPal (and some of the other payment processing sites) only allow so many characters to be submitted and many times their emails to the shop owners to give you the order from a customer doesn't show the entire field. It will many times get cut off and that could cause an issue with not knowing exactly which item a customer ordered if there are variations.

Get your stock number and the variation difference into the beginning of your descriptions for best results on the return emails from the payment processors and you'll not have issues with that then. :)

Jo Ann-
I tried placing stock numbers in front but then the description of the item was cut off. I believe all the names are short enough that there should be no issue with PayPal invoices. As you mentioned, it might be time to upgrade to Pro.
