Yeto, publish your shop. Even if it is to a test site. Use DirectFTP (because you can look at images on your server) and look at your shop folder. I just published using the SCC program to a directory /shoptest/

I found the pics in /shoptest/images/styler/

In /yourshop/images/styler/ folder you should find the pic you are looking for. Download it and replace it with a pic the same size, and named the same. Then upload the new pic to the same directory. When you preview your shop the new pic will show.

Every time you publish your shop you will need to do this. Or buy the SCDP program and you can replace it for good.

Let me know if you still need help.

Change the image in the theme files and you won't need to redo it.
Find the theme your using on your pc. It should have a .sct extension.
Change the extension to .zip by right clicking and selecting rename.
Extract this zip file.
Now find the image and either edit it or replace it with one of the same name.
Now use a zip program or windows to zip the folder back up.
Now right click and select rename then change the extension back to .sct.
Now open it and it should be changed.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

That's what I forgot, changing the .sct to .zip! I was wondering about that and just didn't have time to ask. I knew I had read that somewhere before too. Thanks Eric.

Thank y'all (you all) for taking the time to reply.

It is because of you I will definitely be switching web hosting providers after the first of the year. I am going to make the leap to Coffee Cup and I know I will be able to make it work. You guys always have the answers.

I know I will eventually need Shopping Cart Creator Pro and Shopping Cart Designer Pro but I just can't make the purchase now if you know what I mean. I will try your suggestions and I hope that I can make a simple shopping cart for my business that will work in the mean time.

Kind regards and again thank you for your help,
yeto

Hi,

I tried changing the photo but I can't get it to stick or least it does not show in preview mode. Do I have to publish the site before the new photo will "take"?

Also, Windows Explorer did not give me the option to compress after I made the changes. I basically just renamed the folder back to .sct versus .zip. Does this sound correct?

Thanks,
yeto

Is it possible to delete the theme and reload it from Coffee Cup as I may have duplicated some files?

Thanks,
yeto

Should be able to download any themes you own from here: https://www.coffeecup.com/help/myproducts/themes/
If it is something that came with the cart software then you may need to re-install it.
Please make sure you backup all your cart files before you try any of this. (just in case!)

You must zip the files back up, then re-name it. Try this http://www.7-zip.org/

When you download themes you don't unzip them. You dbl click them to install.

That worked. How was I supposed to know that was how you installed a theme?

Thanks,
yeto
