How do I change the picture on the...

I have the registered version of Shopping Cart Creator.

How do I change the picture on the "Shop Home" page? It does not match the theme/subject of "my" website. I have searched through all of CC's themes and I cannot find a theme that matches the subject of my website. I would really like for the index page to show my products. Is this possible?

Or is there a "blank slate" theme I can purchase?

Kind regards,
yeto

You usually alter the header image in the theme through SCDP.
The other way to do it is to alter the image and save it back to the theme with the same name.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Since I don't have SCDP can you provide step by step instructions on the second method?

Look in the folder where you saved your shop on your computer. /yourshop/images/styler/
Find the image you want to replace. Look at the size of the image. Create your own image at the same size. Name your image the same name as the image you wish to replace. Copy your image to this directory replacing the image there. Next time you load your shop the new image should appear. Then simply publish your shop again and the new image will be uploaded to the web.

Hi and thank you for your reply.

I don't have a styler file in my shop folder. Could it be hidden? I am using the "Deep Red" theme and I need to replace the camera.

Thanks in advance for any help,
yeto

Try looking in /documents/CoffeeCup Software/Shopping Cart/Images/

The other directory may only be for SCCP. Not sure.

I still don't see the image. I guess you have to use the stock images with SCC. That is disappointing. I don't want a big red camera on my home page.

Thanks for trying to help,

Open Designer Pro and select the Spotlight Image. There you can change it or delete it. Once you make the change, export the theme back to Creator.

I don't have Shopping Cart Creator Pro or Shopping Cart Designer Pro.

I have the registered versions of Shopping Cart Creator, HTML Editor, Visual Site Designer and Web Image Studio.

I am currently using Visual Site Designer for my website.

I like the simplicity of Shopping Cart Creator which I was hoping would simplify my website maintence so that I can concentrate on running my business. My current web hosting contract expires in April and I want to move over to CoffeeCup for web hosting. I either need to be able to change the home page or purchase a "blank/clean slate" theme as the "big red camera" won't work for me. Those themes are listed in the software but they won't populate and I get a message saying they will only work with older versions of SCC.

If I could do some simple modificationss on the home page I think I would be set.

Thanks,
yeto
