I'll try and explain this the best I can!

When I choose a Theme in Shopping Cart Creator, I click the pencil which open up Shopping Cart Designer...all looks ok. I make a few colour changes, nothing really major, then, when I go back to SCCreator and preview my theme, the header is either missing or you can only see part of it, even if I haven't touched it and the default header image is still there.

I have tried the preview in Forefox and IE, exactely the same result. Please note this is before uploading it to the web, haven't tried that yet.

Anyone else get this? Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.

What theme are you using? A screen shot would also really help. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

I'll try and sort a screen shot, but it doesn't matter what theme I use, when I upload, the shop is there ok but the header isn't? Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.

We really need to I guess see it online. Every shop I upload here, the header is always there. If this was a global problem, I am sure these forums would be inundated with posts from other users ;)

Maybe if you give step by step instructions from loading the app to uploading, we can try and replicate it here.

Hi Scott,

Have just sent you an emal with 2 screen shots...the first screen shot in preview mode just shows a little bit of the header, the second screen shot shows the uploaded version, no header.

Tried in Firefox and IE with same results.

Just tried downloading SCC and SCD again but no change...weird. Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.

Scott i am just trying this out myself, and with classical jaz, i had same problem, preview only had part of the header, AFTER i removed the shop name !

But uploaded to server it is fine (see below)

With shop name included i think it was ok in preview though.(i will check)

Temporrary header just to try it out, now i am going to do it properly

Hey, I've figured out what it is.

I've been clearing the default Logo image and then exporting "My Theme", when I upload, it seems to make the whole header disappear.

Should it do that Scott? Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.

I tried that here, but the header still appears. This is the steps I am taking.

1. Load SCC.
2. Go into Your Shop and delete the path to the logo image path.
3. Click Ok and then Save.
4. Click on Themes icon, then click on the pencil. SCD will launch.
5. Make some changes and then export back to SCC as a new theme name.
6. Go back to SCC, click preview. The header is still there. If I upload, the header is there.

Is that what you are doing?

Hi Scott,

I followed your instructions precisely, but the header still disappears on preview and when uploaded...very strange.

The only way I have got round it is to find the original logo image file, open in Photoshop, detete the image so that the diameters are the same, but transparent and save it.

Then when previewed/uploaded, it's there, but you can't see it.

I know what you thinking...that's all round the houses, but it's the only thing I've been able to do that works so far.

I'm on Vista 64-Bit by the way...shoudn't make a difference though? Life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.

I talked this over with our programmers and I think we figured out what is going on. Here is the scenario:

1. The user uses a theme which has a logo and shop name in header
2. The user removes logo in SCD.
3. The user removes logo in SCC.
4. The user also removes the shop name in SCC.
5. Now, there is nothing inside header and the size of the header corresponds to what it contains, which is nothing.

If you keep a logo or shop name in your theme, everything will work. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Thanks Scott,

What works for me is just creating a blank, transparent square the same size as the original logo and replacing it in SCD with that...128 b 128 px.

It then looks just how it should.

Thank you for your help and input.
