Just a quick question. We sell some of our products in units of square metres. In most cases, the user will need to enter a number like 1.234 in the quantity field and have a value calculated from this. Is this possible in SCDP?

No it doesn't have the ability. I bet you could find a calculation script to include on the page so users could calculate the needed amount to the nearest sq meter rounded up then enter the value into your field.
