I'm using Coffee Cup Photo Gallery, and when I create mu album, the software provides some files that need to be uploaded. What are the FTP settings necessary to get the files up onto S-drive?

Right now you can only connect to S-Drive with Visual Site Designer. Over time we will enable our other programs to connect to S-Drive as well.

That seems to make S-Drive pretty worthless unless one buys Visual Site Designer. Am I right?

No, not really. ;) With 35+ applications, we just have to work our way through each of them to allow them to connect to S-Drive. Right now it only works with Visual Site Designer, but over time we will enable our other programs to connect to S-Drive as well. However, you will never be able to connect to S-Drive with a 3rd party program. You will always need to use one of our programs to connect to it.

It's a matter of perspective really... :D

There have been MANY uses for S-Drive/Stream to be brought up, both from CC (as their intended uses for them) and from users like you and I (some that I'd venture to say CC didn't see as an intended use when they started development). CC has stated that other programs will have the ability to interact directly with S-Drive, and has even shared a wicked little "work around" for those who are just too eager to wait for them (Scott posted instructions on how to use VSD as a FTP solution within the last week).

True, Scott, but for right now check out my S-Drive site and my latest stream comment. This is an easy workaround for those who prefer to build sites using the HTML Editor in conjunction with other CoffeeCup web page component application programs.

This is of very limiited appeal unless I can connect using FTP and set up my own files. I hand code using HTML editor and for the S drive to be worth my time I need to connect with this and similar tools.

I still cannot find access, permission or FTP settings for S-Drive. So to use your Password Creator, I have to use FTP because its not compatible with S-Drive.

It seems strange that so much of your software will not work yet with S-Drive?

"That Functionality is on its way", when?

Your S-Drive settings are always just your email address and password. Right now you can only directly connect with Shopping Cart, HTML Editor, Visual Site Designer, Form Builder and Direct FTP. So for Password Wizard, use Direct FTP to upload the files.
