Site Stats? - Post ID 250714

I'd like to be able to view the stats for my sites. Apparently S-Drive only provides stats for the steams within the sites? Not all of my sites have or need streams but I'd still like to see the unique page views, when, from where, etc. etc. All the normal stuff you'd expect. How do I go about getting that information or do I have to use a third party host to get that? Thanks.

Right now we only provide stats for Streams, Shops and Forms. We will be including stats for Sites we hope in the near future.

You could use Google Analytics for your stats:

I would also suggest Google Analytics. It is a VERY useful tool. Not only in viewing your page visits but also tracking keywords and much more.

I've uploaded a form to S-drive and would like to able to include on the site page a basic break down of the real time stats. EG. how many visited the form, how many have agreed and how many people have disagreed with the questions being asked. How can I get the basic stats from S-drive to appear on the site.

There's a link to download all of your data from a csv file on the forms submission page of your forms dashboard. You'll have to manually do this from time to time as there's no automated way as you need to be logged into your account.
The other option is to use another host in order to use outside scripts to display and manipulate your data.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks Eric, So basically there is no way the site itself can extract the info and then display it, to give a live feed, being that the site is already on the S-drive.

Unfortunately there isn't. I was hoping you could at the least save a csv file on your form but that gets disable at upload if it's selected.

Hi Eric, Trying to think out of the box a little, instead of taking the numbers from S-drive database as such, why not pass number purely between the form and the actual webpage. for example the web page has a number embedded in the page say '5', a person clicks on the form fills it in, so the form now has an extra completion, so we need to add '1' to the webpage to make it now 6. now the webpage needs to store that number. it sounds very long winded, and is certainly a roundabout way of doing something that would normally be simple. Have completely flipped my lid or do you think it would be feasible

You still need a way to store data and retrieve it. The retrieving part is the issue with S-Drive. S-Drive is great for most users that don't need data manipulation. For those that do another host is necessary.
