I searched for Bootstrap here and found a number of posts but I'm still confused about the relationship to RLM. I'm just getting into the Responsive thing and have been playing with my copy of RLM. I also develop in VS2013 and am learning ASP.NET MVC 5 which includes Bootstrap 3 in its basic website template. RLM seems to have the control I'm looking for - especially with breakpoints. Also, I really don't know much about Bootstrap other than the fact that an MVC 5 project seems to be fairly responsive - but not really sure how it works.

I'd like to understand more about the implications of using RML along with Bootstrap or would it be better to not to use them together. It would seem like the CSS would conflict? And yet, MVC 5 uses a fair amount of CSS classes in the template. Any enlightenment will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would think you shouldn't have to many issues as Boostrap is really just a bunch of pre-defined styles. You can always place a custom.css to override anything that might not be working as expected. Coffeecup has their coffeegrinder available for RLM and that works very well.

If you're wanting to use Bootstrap instead of the limited features of CoffeeGrinder, you need to start the project in Bootstrap mode rather than CoffeeGrinder mode. To do this go to the File menu and choose New From and then choose Bootstrap 2 Grid on that list.
From there you can go here to see what types of pre-defined styles you can use:

These can be applied within RLMP, but the limitation there is that RLMP will only accept one style tag so you may need to add some after you export the site. I tend to keep a listing of the changes I need to make after export as I'm designing.

Do keep in mind that this would be Bootstrap 2, not 3 as they have not gotten 3 into RLMP as of yet. Hopefully that's something coming soon so we can take advantage of the new features as well.

Give it a try and play with it and you'll see it's pretty easy to apply the styles within the program as well as after export.
