The photo text description is covering the top part of the photos in my photo gallery..

Is there any way to lower the photo (or raise the text) so the top parts of the photos isn't being covered by the description text there?
Thanks!

Hi Anthony,
I'm sorry but it's one of those either have a caption or don't have a caption type deal for now. There is noway of moving the images or the caption drop down at this time, but it has been suggested to CC, maybe in the near future it will become available. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

The text over the top of the picture ruins any photo. I can't use the software because of it.
Dave,
If you do not want to use captions, remove all the captions. That way the text will not be there. Bill R.

But I need to identify each photo so the viewers (potential customers) can ask for specific prints. Sorry, but placing the info over the picture just doesn't work for me.
Hi Anthony and Dave. Try making a frame around your pictures before you make the photo gallery and the writing will appear above the pictures. See my gallery at http://www.uuchesterriver.org/LivingHistory.html. that might work. Sarah
Related question: How about changing text size in the Captions? Can this be done without getting into the code??
Dick,
I don't know of a way to change the caption font from inside the program, but open the XML file and locate these lines of code:
This is around line 25 to 30 in my XML file, and should be easy enough to make some changes. Bill R.

This seems like a great product, however, I've looked at the galleries you've posted and they all have one major problem, at least on my browser (Firefox) and that is, it is very difficult to scroll sideways through the thumbnail images.
If only there were an arrow so that you know there are more images to the left or right
Also I am having trouble getting the thumbnails to scroll to the right. I hover my mouse over the right corner but it lags for a long time. I'd imagine that users unfamiliar with the gallery would assume there are no more pictures.
Any plans to put in little arrows to help users scroll through the thumbnail gallery?

The little arrows are already in the programme! Just check that option.
