Safari files in my Photo Gallery

I understand if you need more information. I just purchased CC Photo Gallery and have created a couple of albums. This is all just prep work before uploading my website to the web. What I don't understand is why do the files for my Albums show up as Safari documents when I create, open &/or save them within Photo Gallery but do not show up at all when trying to post them into my preliminary website or when I try to verify them thru the computer's directory files. My default browser is Firefox and I have IE, FF, & Safari loaded for previewing the site while in CC's Vis. Site Designer.

Thanks - just trying to understand before I get too in depth before the problem snowballs.

But I LIKE snowballs (http://www.pelicanssnoballs.com)!

The files will most likely show up as Safari documents because you have recently used Safari, but they are actually just files that are readable by that browser. They are probably something like 'albumname.html' or 'albumname.xml'. Cross check your files: open the project and save it again and look at the list of files. Compare that with what is in your folder that shows up as Safari files. "Time heals everything. Know who said that? My Latin teacher at barber college!"

Lowell - thanks for the reply.

I downloaded "My Website Is Better Than Yours" the other day and began reading it in detail last night - I'm hoping to learn something that'll help make sense of this.

I've never had Pelican's SnoBalls but if I do I guess New Orleans would be the place to get a hold of some.

Anyways - I think I figured out part of the problem after several hours of testing different options. What I had originally done was create a Image folder for storing all modified images for my website. The problem seems to be that I had created the folder within ".../Program Files/CoffeeCup.../" That seems to be why I could not locate them with other programs or on the C: drive (my system must have converted them to 'hidden' files. I relocated the image storage folder and I seem to have access to it now and Vis. Designer previews are working as they should.

What I still don't understand at this time and it may not be such a big deal except pure curiosity, is why the files seem to show up as 'Safari' documents and not Firefox documents - considering that Firefox is my default for everything. When I use Safari it must be opened manually. Do you know if I need to go into Safari and change a setting regarding images, etc. files?

Just wondering - but happy for the moment & thanks again for the help!
