Is there any way to change the transition or fade time between pictures in a slide show? I'm not talking about the slide show speed, I'm talking about the value of the fade. I would like slow the fade down to soften the fade even more, or speed it up to make the transition more abrupt.

I guess there isn't. This is a feature that should be added to this software.

i requested this addition about 8 months ago and still nothing has come of it, the abitility to slow this down will make this nifty little app fantastic, i dont know what it takes to get something like this added but i wish they would add it soon.

Thanks for the heads up. You would think that would be a priority feature. Eight months? That's not promising. What amazes me is that not one representative from CC responded to my question. Great software support........

CoffeeCup has been busy recently. In addition to moving from Texas to Atlanta, GA, they have been working on major upgrades to some of their programs.

They have updated seven programs since the photo gallery was updated (March of this year), and there are 16 other programs that have not been updated since the photo gallery. They also update the free programs occasionally.

CoffeeCup, in my experience, does listen to the program users, and will incorporate user suggestions.

If the transition was broke, it would likely have a rapid response, but since it is an additional user requested feature, it will likely be waiting until the bug list is fixed on all programs, and/or the Photo Gallery is scheduled for an update.

This is just my ramblings, but do try to understand the business decisions they have to make, and the number of programs they have to maintain. Bill R.

Alpert, you have a reply to the same question in the Firestarter topic. Please observe that you have posted a Firestarter question in the group for Photo gallery, and please post in the correct group next time.

It's not that I want to 'push you around' but we have the discussion groups for each type of software for a reason. Ha en riktig god dag!

The last post to this forum was over a year ago, and still not answer. This is a Photo Gallery question, in photo gallery there is a fade feature but it does not work, the pictures just pop in fast no fade effect. If anyone has a solution to this on knows the code to manual edit I am still needing this to be solved thank you.

I believe the images do, in fact, fade in. They just fade in very quickly. :) CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Hiya Aletia,

Have you tried checking the .xml file to see if there's a setting in there for the timing? I don't recall off hand if there was, but I do recall that there were a few settings in there that weren't actually in the program so it's possible and worth checking since the worst that can happen is it's not there :) Jo Ann
