why does photo galley rename my files and create several duplicate copies when it creates the image folder???
for example
the image folder is empty. i create my gallery with 4 different albums.
all original files have different file names.
when i click save in photo gallery it creates this.
image91.jpg
image91s.jpg
image91(1).jpg
image91(1)s.jpg
now i know that the s ones are the thumnail images but why is it duplicating files???? and renaming them with the (-)?

Hi Candy,
Because those files already exist on your system, windows created a duplicate name. To fix this, delete the files or save to a new location and you will not get the dups that end in (1)

so then once a gallery is created with multiple albums and uploaded to a website, how can you edit one of the albums (ex. add or delete a pic.)... when you hit save it copies all the images again when only say one or two pics changed.
i hope i am explaining myself alright.

Hi
In the saved folder, when you edit the album, delete the image and then click save. I would probably recommend re-saving the album to a new folder just to be on the safe side.

Scott,
Couldn't find my old post so I shall tuck in here my message as it relates to the photo album.
You may recall that I was unable to find the little "globe" to set up external links from the thumbnails.
Probably it was because I didn't uninstall the older version of the software before installing the newer one. I have just done both, and can now see the globe that you told me about, so thanks
Bye for now,
