What determines the order in which photos appear in a gallery if they are loaded up from a folder.
I've tried re-ordering them in Adobe Bridge, but they seem to appear in any opl order. Is it alphabetical?
Cheers.

"opl" is not some techno thing - should be "old"! Sorry.
Good question, mine seemed to be added alphabetically. In case you didn't already know, you can sort them in the gallery w/ the little arrow buttons just above the thumbnails.

Thanks Adam. I find the "green arrow" method a bit of a pain, for what it's worth. Note to developers: it would be nice to have a system, like Adobe Bridge, where you can see all the photos at the same time and drag them around as required!
Non experts like me might find the following tip useful. Put the photos in order in Adobe Bridge, then use the batch rename tool to give them a serial letter prefix (a sally.jpg, b flower.jpg, etc, etc). You then have your phots in the right order ,alphabetically, and can make the gallery in one go directly from the folder. No need to use the green arrows in Coffee Cup. I haven't checked this using Coffee Cup photo gallery, but it worked with my other software and should definitely work if the coffee cup software orders the photos alphabetically.

This program definitely needs to automatically order the pics via the file names like every other program in the world.... Coffeecup is good for making things quick and easy to use... and how quick and easy is it when we have to spend hours clicking a little arrow to arrange over 150 pics in a gallery to get them in the correct order?
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
