It seems so simple yet it's not working : (
I'm trying to add a gallery to VSD but it is not appearing in VSD. Box says "preview not available". Gallery doesn't show in preview page either. Using Firefox. Code is complete. I'm trying to follow the Photogallery Help PDF but the screens shots do not match mine. For example, Step 4 in PhotoGallery help PDF shows a box for the "Add Files Wizard" that does not appear for me. I don't receive a box that says "Add files to VSD" and then the option to check "with a coffee cup program". I just get a two part box that says "my computer files" on one side and "my website" on the other.
Can anyone solve this mystery? Many thanks. Michelle

Forgot to add...if it matters...I'm using Vista. Thank you again.
HI Michelle,
In VSD try using the flash tool and draw a little square, like you would the html tool. a window will pop up wanting you to browse to look for the gallery xml file, click open and VSD will add all the files to make the gallery work, save it then your ready to upload after you make your adjustments as far as location. While that was perfect! And easy! Thank you so much. Now, I haven't uploaded this new site yet so do I need to make any adjustment locations?
Here's something odd...I have two monitors. The site colors look identical on both monitors. Yet, the background colors on the album (custom colors from the photo gallery software) look completely different. Gray on one and green on the other. The actual photos look the same. Only the background colors appear different. Any thoughts as to why and which is correct?
Hi Michelle,
I really can't say as to the cause of this without seeing the code. I am assuming the color of the background is black. So I would have to say it's in the monitor settings. I haven't seen any heads up on this color difference but I would right click on the desktop, go to properties, click on settings, then click advanced and see if the DPI setting is set at 96dpi. let me know please as now I am curious.
also see if one monitor is set at 16 or 24 bit or both are set at 32 bit. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

You get there a little differently in Vista (I had to look it up). But, yes, both are set at 32 bit and 96dpi. I can't imagine why the photo gallery background colors look different. One monitor is my laptop and one is a regular stand alone monitor. Would that make a difference. Which one is "right" e.g. how will the world see it?
The color you chose is right, I would upload and see if it's correct. if so then your fine and it would have to be the laptop, otherwise I am stumped.

Upon further investigation, I don't think it is a CC problem. I am noticing the same color problem with my typepad blog and other things. Don't know which is the real color that others see. A problem for another day...
