I am using Photo Gallery with Visual Site Developer. The website has a Photos page that displays a photo album and the page has three icons (1) Start/stop slideshow, (2) Show/hide albums, and (3) Start/stop sound. Photo Gallery has the appropriate mouseover text; however, when putting the mouse pointer over any of these icons, the mouseover text does not display. This is true at the website, and also true when previewing in Photo Gallery. and Visual Site Developer. Does anybody know what would cause the mouseover text to not appear?

Hi John,
When using the gallery buttons, I see no mouse over effect added, however there is a way to change the buttons to text. Is this what you are asking about. Sorry if I am Missing something as well. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

Thanks for the quick response. Maybe I am missing something here; however, within Photo Gallery you can navigate to Item Settings. If I select one of the buttons (Slideshow, Album, or Sound) on the right of the screen I see a Mouse Over box that contains text. I am interpreting this to mean that's the text that would display when the user places the mouse pointer over the icon. Nothing appears on my system when I place the mouse pointer over any of the three icons when running or previewing my site.

This is a known issue John and we will have it fixed in the next update. When Adobe released that last update, it caused a major issue with some of the code we use in the Flash file for Photo Gallery. The quick fix to get it working again was to remove the tooltips.
We are working on a new version that has a few bug fixes and this will be included with that.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the information regarding the tooltips. There is another option in the Gallery program that displays text instead of the icons. I can always use the text in lieu of the icons.

Aha! This is my problem too. No mouse-over text. I see this issue was posted over a year ago. When will the fix be available?

I bought Photo Gallery Nov. 29, 2011. I sorta figured this problem might have been resolved prior to that. It's Version 5.96 Build 4.
Is there anything newer?
