Hello,

I am a new user and am having a couple of problems during an upload to our FTP server.

I have an existing portfolio that I am able to find and open. On Friday, I added images, previewed before uploading, and the images were found and positioned correctly. I uploaded and the message at the bottom indicated that the images were being uploaded to the FTP server. When I viewed on our website, the images were not there. I had to ftp the images outside of coffee cup to move them to the website server. After I ftp'd the images to the site, they appeared but are now positioned lower than in the preview. How can I fix this?

Here is the link to the photogallery found on our website:

Thank you!

Hi Eric,

The picture you posted is what appeared after I continued to play around. I inherited the album from another user who created the album on another machine. All of the information was copied to my local drive. When I pull up the album, all of the pictures do appear and the images are in the portfolio_files folder. I went in and added new photos, previewed and everything looked correct. When I uploaded, it looked as if all of the images were being uploaded to the FTP site. However, I saw that only the photos I added were uploaded and nothing else (the empty thumbnails in your attachment is where they should have shown). I had to FTP all of the images to the FTP site manually and everything worked from there. So, I think I have this problem figured out. However....

I am having another problem that maybe you can advise me on. I don't see the thumbnail strip that you see on your display. When I view through IE8, the images are large, the side portion gets cut off and the bottom thumbnail strip is not shown (image attached). Would you have any suggestions on how to fix?

Problem has been solved. I downloaded Firefox and the page looks great. There is some setting in IE that I cannot seem to adjust properly.

Thanks for responding! Debbie M.
