Hi

1) When you have 'Show Border' under layout, it has the border tight on the upper and lower parts of the picture (which is fine) but the left and right parts of the border are very wide and are not tight to the picture. Is there a way to achieve this, or have the border evenly spaced all the way round?

2) Is it possible not to have the image information bar appear when your mouse goes over the image? I find that the bar gets stuck there. Also, if you don't want to have any information about the picture 'Image Caption', it makes the show look a bit silly. Hope that made sense?

Thank you in advance. Mark Loves CoffeeCup

Hey Mark.

1) I noticed I had wider edges on the sides, and the picture was an odd size. I resized it to exactly 800x600 and the borders looked about even all around. I think the program's designed to handle a certain size ratio/proportions, so odd sized pictures will end up with wider borders. Try resizing the pics to 640x480, 800x600 or 1024x768 and see if the borders are better. Of course, you might have to crop part of the picture or stretch someone's face in the process. :)

2) In my photo gallery, if I make the Image Caption blank, then no caption bar appears. Make sure the default "Enter caption here" (or whatever it says) is deleted and see if the drop-down caption won't show. http://www.flashstrap.com

Hi Adam

Thanks for the reply. I followed your advice for both points. Point 2 worked great, thanks for that. Point One though did exactly what you suggested may just happen, a few stretched faces. I undid the changes as my mother would not appreciate such a morph to her appearance.

I hope CC will try and resolve this problem from happening in future releases. I know you can leave the border out, so this would not be a problem, but things look so much neater when there are defining areas on the Photo Gallery.

Thanks again Adam Mark Loves CoffeeCup
