Access Violation errors trying to open .xml with Important Update 5.93R version... NONE OPEN!
See attachment... need resolution A.S.A.P.; as ALL clients who have CPG Galleries on there sites are have visitor's browsers crash on those pages;
and now I have updated CPG to 5.93R... NONE of my previous .xml gallery files will open.
SO... there is no way I can open, save, upload anything to fix these urgent issues.
Also post attempts keep failing in IE8.

you will need to open photo gallery, then open your project, then resave it in the current version (5.93) as this has the fix of the stupid flash upgrade that is causing the problem. then you can either upload the gallery in Photo Gallery of using an external ftp upload the xml and swf files. But please remove the xml, swf files from your server first before uploading as it usually doesn't overwrite the files, (sometimes it does but why take the chance right)

OK Sorry I did misread it. Will Re-check--I can't duplicate this in my Vista or XP machines. I will alert someone to this thread asap, and hope they can fix it for you. You may want to also put in a support ticket. again sorry I can't help.

Can you tell me what version of Photo Gallery you were originally using? If you can zip up your entire photo gallery project and all source files and post a link to this, I will check into what the problem is.

I am grateful Scott, I will arc & email source for one previous gallery.
Since I always kept up with your updates, I was (just before I had to uninstall it) using the very latest version... so whatever came right before 5.93R is what I was using.

Jefferson just had to run a registry cleaner. Once he did that, everything worked. As to your galleries not being found, the update does not do anything with saved galleries. They would still be in the exact location where they were previously saved. Try searching your computer for any SWF or XML files.
