Yowsa, I am one happy camper! Had a client who has NO knowledge of html, but wants her clients to each have access to their own protected page, as well as the public pages. After days and days of searching the net for a php script, I knew it wouldn't do. The CMS platform I use generates all new pages from an include based on the main template, and stores all pages in one directory. If I used htaccess to protect that directory, then others would not be able to view the public pages in the same directory. There is no way she would be comfortable going into htaccess to add usernames and passwords anyway. I never even thought that my old standby here, coffeecup would have a password program. I set it up so she creates a main page...and a page for each client...unchecks the default and gives the client permission for the page through the redirect...LOVE it...I will have her buy the CC software, and she will have a user friendly way to update her client list, only having to upload the swf file after changes....whew! I never would have gotten this gig if she had to add code to pages on her own...Thank you Coffee Cup YOU ROCK!
Thanks for posting this! We like to hear that people are satisfied!
Ha en riktig god dag!
