On the Password Wizard Help Instructions, there is a page with the title: "Password Protecting a Page Created in Visual Site Designer" which I am attempting to following the 7 step instructions.

However after completing steps 1 to 4 successfully, step 5 states: Navigate to Settings>Add Files.

On my Visual Site Designer program when I click the "Settings" it open a list of menu starting with "Standard Settings to New Page" then "Background Fill properties" etc......but no "Add files"

Only when I clock the "Edit" menu in my Visual Site Designer program has a "add files"...but when I did this, it does not match step 6.

I am stuck! I recently purchased both Visual Site Designer and password wizard and this is the first time I need help.

This sounds like something you should perhaps point out to the CC techies. Put in a ticket as to me it sounds as if there might have been an update in one application which has not been matched with the other for the procedures to follow.

Someone else may come in with an alternative suggestion, but this is my interpretation of the issue. http://www.venicefromtheinside.com

Hi Victor, Is this the help file you were watching?

In the current version of VSD you add files by clicking on Edit then Add Files then click on the Root. Now at the bottom of the window there's a add files icon that looks like a sheet of paper with a green plus sign. Click on that then browse to your password wizard files. Hope this helps. I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.

I visited the tutorials and I have concluded that my Visual Site Designer no longer have Edit>Add Files.

My Visual Site Designer is Version 7, build 24.

Is this the latest version? I just purchased it last week.

If it is, then it no longer have the option for Edit>Add files since clicking Edit no longer displays Add files.

I still need help on how to resolve this issue.

Victor...that is why I suggested putting in a ticket to Support. Quite probably noone will be able to help if it is actually a question of misleading instructions which are incompatible between the 2 applications.

You can access your support room either from your account or through the SUPPORT link in the horizontal menu. http://www.venicefromtheinside.com

Victor, I would try a reinstall. Sounds like something's corrupt. I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.

Eric,

I was having the same question as Victor, however, when I click on the icon you refer to, nothing happens. When the cursor passes over the sheet of paper icon, it remains an arrow instead of changing to the pointing finger.

But for VSD I made a work around and that's here.

Okay,

All that was waaaaayy above my skill level. What is meant by workaround page? My website is built in VSD. I'm not understanding what you mean by visible src, or why a new password HTML page is being created.

I did manage to get the login box to show on my login page, but it's practically microscopic.

You can edit the size of the login box in the Password Wizard. Grab the sides to stretch it out. You'll need to follow my instructions for the security to protect the page. I'll take another look at the page to see if I can clear a few things up for ya.:) I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.
