I have diligently read through the information in the forums regarding how to get the password wizard to function in VSD. I followed the directions and still get a 404 Message when I click on the login button on my home page. If I remove the hidden page i can get to the login page but I can't go past it.
I've had little or no problems with the other CC software. I love it all. I'm just a little frustrated and on a deadline now with our basketball team.

Ok-- so I removed the header html from the pages I wanted to protect and the wizard started working. How and where can I reapply it so that I can prevent the pages from being accessed with out going thru the login?

It's most likely not working because the pages aren't loaded in frames. The header code checks to see if the page is within a frame, and if it's not, it'll redirect to the login.
I'm not sure why you'd get a 404 error though unless there's no pages that match up (file name or path) with the URL given when setting up the login in Password Wizard. I might've confused even myself w/ that wording. Anyway, I can try to help further as I've gotten this to work for myself & others. It's a bit of work getting the right code entered manually and creating frames since VSD doesn't offer to create frame code for you. Is there any dummy login for testing? You can contact me directly if you want to share as little info as possible (being a password-protected site):
