I'm sorry to ask such a basic question but I can't find the answer (or may have found it an not understood it). I'm trying to display an RSS feed on the right side of SelfishMom.com - you can see where the big white box is. I'm sure that I haven't loaded the files to the correct folder for this to happen, but I can't figure out where they're supposed to go. Thanks for the help!

OK, I seemed to have solved the problem by just making a new folder and changing the embed code to point to it. However, now that it's loading, I have a new problem: there is only one item in the rss feed, and I would love it if the scrolling stopped when there was only one item. Is this possible?

Well since I'm posting...it turns out the only place this box is really working is in FireFox. It displays in a very ugly way in Chrome and doesn't display at all in Explorer. Not sure what to do. I've searched the forums but I'm not a programmer (which is why I was happy to lay out money for software that I thought would simply work). Not sure what to do, but an advertiser is getting increasingly unhappy.

It would be good to post a link so others can see the problem and perhaps offer a solution. CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

I thought I did, selfishmom.com. It's in the sidebar so I don't think you need a specific link, it's sitewide.

Sorry, I'm guessing you meant an actual link: http://selfishmom.com

Nevermind, I had to take it down and replace it with a simple widget - had to get something up there quickly that worked.

I was having a similar problem with News Flash. It worked fine when creating it but when I uploaded it to the host server all I got was a blank space. I was told by CC support that my host would have to turn on a couple PHP procedures. When I contacted my host they said they would not for security reasons. CC then told me I would not be able to use News Flash on my website.

Punt! Not what I'd hoped to hear.

"contact your hosting provider and ask them if they can turn on these PHP functions: allow_url_fopen and magic_quotes_gpc, because they should be enabled so the program can work properly."

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
