I created a feed for my site and the feed displays in preview mode but when I upload to my server I can no longer see it. Please advise.

Anthony,

Did you upload the news reader files?

The reason I ask is that
http://www.webcreations1.com/mashuu%20dojo.swf and
http://www.webcreations1.com/mashuu%20dojo.xml
will be a 404 error. That may be due to the space in the file names. Bill R.

Thank you Bill

I changed the name of the file and now it is working.

I have RSS running on two sites. One site will display the feed but not the other. The setup with both appear to be the same. The one that does not display says 'Movie not loaded' when you right click. Both of these sites have the rss stuff in the public_html folder. Same number of files.. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Neville,

Are both sites on the same host?

If you post a link to both sites (the page with the feed), maybe someone could spot the problem. Bill R.

G'day Bill
Thanks for responding. The site not working is http://www.freeschapelle.com.au. You'll see the blank patch on the middle right. This site was working up to yesterday.

The site that is working is http://www.ezinet.com.au. Different hosts.
Thanks

Nev,

First thing I would check is to see if the host has changed something. Sometimes an upgrade changes some settings, and the host may not have notified everyone if they did not expect a disruption in service.

let me check your site for files.

I just checked your site, and http://www.freeschapelle.com.au/forumnews.swf and http://www.freeschapelle.com.au/forumnews.xml are both not found with a 404 error. Could be that the files were inadvertently deleted, moved or something.

If you have an FTP program, look for the files and see if they are still on your site. Bill R.

Thanks Bill. The url's that you selected were in reality forum news.swf and forum news.xml. Because of the break in the name in each case it failed to work. I have changed them to complete words with no break and now it works. Thanks Mate
