Hey everyone!

We just released a small update of CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer. This version primarily fixes issues reported by users since the last update.

Issues Addressed in 7.0 Build 16:
  • Fixed issue where McAfee Internet Security was reporting a false positive on a component of the software.
  • Fixed file association icon for .vnu and .vsdp files.
  • Fixed issue with identical temporary file names being shared between projects causing your website to show the wrong image when previewed.
  • Fixed issues with mouseover images getting lost when saving your website.
  • Other misc. fixes for better stability.

NOTE: For this update, we recommend that you uninstall any previous version first before installing this update.

Registered users can download their free update here at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/myorders

If you would like to give the latest trial version a test run, you can download a 28 day trial here at http://www.coffeecup.com/designer

Thanks for the great service Scott and everyone at CC!:) I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's so easy to overlook something your not looking for.

Here's my S-Drive site with
examples of what can be accomplished in VSD.

Tell me about ! I tested the same file with Norton, Trend Micro, AVG, Bitdefender and Kaspersky and they reported no problem. Only McAfee complained and it was not even a binary file!

Yet again why these programs are totally useless!!! :) ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Annoying, unreliable, maddening, frustrating -- yeah, sometimes. Useless? Ask anybody who's lost a file, a drive or a computer to malware. I think they'll disagree.

Scott, are you aware of VirusTotal? Uploading a file to this site will test it on over 40 antivirus engines, including all of those you mentioned and many lesser-known ones.

BTW -- haven't the recent updates to VSD automagically performed an uninstall of the previous build before installing the latest? Doesn't this one do the same?

Interesting site and no I was not aware of that. Very cool indeed! Only McAfee and something called VBA32 reported an issue. All others clean.

Maybe I hate McAfee now just a bit more... ;)

Yes, VSD does automatically uninstall the previous version, but I always just like to mention it for the users who don't keep as current as others with their installations. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

I wanted to take a look at that site, but I couldn't get in. Could it be that the site is under a severe virus attack? :P Ha en riktig god dag!
