After installing the program, only a window containing the tracks, and the close,minimize,? buttons appear. There are no "burn" or "rip" buttons. I am running Win98se. Where is the rest of the interface?

It sounds like you are using large custom DPI settings. Try changing that to a normal DPI setting and see if that works.

Under properties/settings/advanced, I have small fonts chosen. Is there anywhere else I need to change DPI?
