Hi All,
Not sure if this is a wide issue with menu builder but the menus' often don't appear when the mouse if positioned over. All work fine when the page is first loaded up but after a few goes over looking under each section of the menu, the buttons often don't appear. This is fixed when refreshing the browser.
My test site is at www.assemblynet.co.uk
Using the latest Firefox browser?
Has anybody else experienced issues with the menu buttons not appearing?
Rob.

Just to say I havn't set up the actual links yet so don't expect them to work.
Hello Robert,
This is a known issue, but I don't know if there's anything our developers can do to work around it. Essentially what's happening is that if your mouse is placed where the menu is when the page loads, it's triggering the submenu buttons to open at the same time. The SWF file gets confused because it hasn't finished loading the button images yet, and therefore the text gets lost. One way you can workaround it is to make the visitor click on the buttons to expand them, instead of relying on the mouse over event; which means unchecking the "Show Sub Menu on Mouse Over" option on the right.

I am having a similar problem. I used the program for the first time last night and when I click on a sub menu, it takes me to my link, however when I GO BACK to the page all my text is gone inside the buttons. Refresh does work. Also, I will mouse-over and no sub menus will show at all. I can eliminate the mouse-over as suggested if that would work but would need a down arrow indicating a drop down menu.
Has this been updated or addressed by CC yet? Just curious being newly registered and have the same issues with my flash menu. Thanks :-)
Hi Matt,
I'm running IE7 -SP3 and I seem to have no problems with Flash Menu Builder. version 3.5 "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

Hey there Bruzer,
IE7 would be retro wouldn't it? I can't ask that vistors to my site regress to IE7 from IE8, if that's what you mean. Anyway, I'm using the free DHTML menu builder, which makes up for it and works great

Hi Matt,
Sorry for a misleading answer, that's not what I was thinking, I was just stating that I had IE7-SP3 and had no problems with Flash Menu Builder as mentioned in the above posts. And I didn't know what system you had I thought I would mention it worked fine for me.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
