Hi Guys,
I'm hoping there's a solution here to my problem. I’m trying to get my dropdown menu to have the same position in all 3 browsers Chrome, FF & IE.
Currently the menu is in different positions on each browser & it shifts way over to the left if I open the history or favorites tabs. I'm sure there's some attitudinal coding I need to manually add but that's my weak spot. :(
Here’s the link to project.

I am viewing your site on a wide screen laptop at 1366 X 768 and have to scroll horizontally quite a bit to view the entire page. Perhaps scaling down the page width will help you out. Take a look at the div holding the menu and the menu code and adjust the padding/margins. CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Hi,

Your site bears no sign of having been created with any CoffeeCup programme, so I would advise you to contact the Namo WebEditor's forum and ask your question there.

Or actually, a much better advice would be to move away from Namo alltogether. Your site has neither got a doctype nor a charset declaration. The missing charset e.g. is the reason why you get those little rhombs with the question mark instead of the apostrophy. And running the site through the W3C validator gives 29 errors plus some 19 warnings. That won't bring your ranking with the search engines anywhere near the top. If you use one of the CC sitebuilders, you will avoid all those errors.

With a lot of people out there still viewing your site with 1024x768 px monitors, I'd also take Tom's advice about scaling down the page a wee bit.

Sorry, I don't mean to ruin your day. The looks of your site are pleasing, but the back end (code) will sooner or later let you down. Ha en riktig god dag!

I'm sorry I've worked with FMB in the past, overlooked that this time I used different software called FMF (flash menu factory) I agree it's time to move away from namo. The problem has been becoming so used to the WYSIWYG editor. I have coffeecup html editor but I didn't work as well for me. Your feedback was great, I'm not crazy about the wider website but it's what the client wants. I dealt with it a lot the past 2 years. It seems people are going wide screen crazy:rolleyes:

Maybe you will like CoffeeCup's Visual Site Designer better?. It's all drag and drop. You could download a free trial and play with it. Ha en riktig god dag!

If your page has no doctype, the margins and padding will be different in various browsers.

Try VSD, you will love it if html is not your thing.

Tell your client that most people who visit the site will hate having to scroll horizontally. It is a major nuisance and might cause visitors to just navigate away. I know I would.

CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
