Can someone please explain why root menu items disappear - get pushed out of view - when a submenu above slides down?
Would really appreciate some help..... quietly going nuts here!

Are you refering to the Flash Menu Builder, or the DHTML Menu Builder? Bill R.

mundo,
I think a link showing what you have would be a great help. I am guessing that you have a vertical menu, and the bottom items are disappearing, but I don't know for sure that is what you are talking about. Bill R.

Bill, I'm afraid I can't show you but you're right; vertical menu; four root items; first root slides down revealing a 4 item submenu; the remaining 3 root items are pushed out of view - which is what I don't want.

Russell,
What is below the menu? Are you using absolute positioning and the item below is not moving down to accommodate the expanded menu?
You need to examine your page html code to see where the problem originates. Bill R.

Bruce,
You may be correct, and if so all he needs to do is delete the image of MENU SAMPLE HERE from teh nav column and he should be good to go. Bill R.

Hi Billr
Bill I'm sorry I didn't explain, this wasn't his menu but an example of what he has I assume. The menu sample here is on my page but no matter, it won't allow the other root menus to show. I have removed the sample menu text just to show you what he has as an example because he cannot show his menu for whatever reason.
I tried fooling with the xml also and could not get it to expand, Just giving you something to work with Billr. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

thanks for your interest Bruce. Your example correctly demonstrates the problem. I also tried working on the code in the xml but to no avail......
