Hi,
I've got 3 questions about the Flash Menu Builder:
1) How do I make the root menu have a link when it also has submenus? The builder is disabling the url field, I would like the main menu tab to also link to a page.
2) If I move from a root tab that has a sub menu to one that doesn't have a submenu, the submenu stays open which is misleading becuase the menu that the mouse is currently on doesn't match the submenu that is displayed (horizontal display). How can I get the submenu to close whenever the mouse goes over another menu button?
3) Horizontal display again: the submenu always displays on left side, which looks strange if the root menu is on right side, the submenu is not underneath its matching root menu button. How can I get the submenu to line up with its root menu button?
Thanks,
Alan

All good questions, which can all be answered with no, not possible at the moment. As for #2, you have to touch the main button again for the sub menus to disappear, before moving on to a button without submenus.
I like the features you want, however, so I'll forward them to the developers. Ha en riktig god dag!

Thanks Inger, I will look forward to those improvements and hopefully what I have now will keep my clients happy until then...
Hi,
I have the same questions. Is there any progress on this? Thanks.

Lloydie,
CoffeeCup is constantly working on upgrades, improvements, and adding features to existing programs, while developing new programs. If you look at the program list at http://www.coffeecup.com/help/myorders/ you can see the latest update date. The Flash Menu Builder was last updated April 24, 2008.
It may be that CoffeeCup is working on an update, but until it reaches beta testing, we may not know of any progress.
Be patient, or look at other options such as the CoffeeCup free DHTML Menu builder. Bill R.

BillR, any chance 'they' can give us a horizontal menu with a vertical sub menu? Sorta kinda lika the way MS Word works with its File, Edit, etc., menus. That would solve Alan's issue #2 and #3.
I have an inferiority complex - but it is not a very good one.
In this case, the best thing to do if you want certain features is to post a message in the "Our Miscellaneous Software" area and post a message in the "Suggestions for software" message thread.
CoffeeCup does look at these messages and if enough requests are there, it improves the chance of the feature being added. Bill R.
