Goodmorning, Is there a way to modify or reduce the
size of the buttons in the flash menu builder 3.4 ? The
menu layout I need is horizontal and the number of main
buttons I need exceed the width (800) of my page in VSD .

Craig, there is not a re-size option for the buttons, but you can open the button images in an image editor (PhotoShop, GIMP, IRFANView) and make the button a little smaller. I have done so for a couple of websites I created.

hi Craig,
you could try to edit the menus xml file to lower the size of the buttons, but depends on the button your using you may need to make adjusts in the centering of the text also. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

I didn't mention that option because the last time I tried that, it messed up the text alignment on the button. It may work for some, though.

you can make some changes to left,center, right with the text. It's true doesn't always work with some .

Thanks for your reply Bruce. I did figure out
the button issue. I thought I would jazz up
my website with the Flash Menu builder today
but I seem to be having trouble adding
multiple pages. I have 11 pages I want to
add this program to and it seems to work ok
up to about 4 pages. After that it does not
want to load up. I have uploaded each page
but not having much luck . Do you recall anyone
else with the same trouble ? Is there a limit
to how many pages this can be used on ?

I have had it on 7 pages just copying the code to the pages in VSD, but I'll test it out again and see for sure to see if I can get more and let you know. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

I appreciate that Bruce. I do have a few songs, video,
sounds, some other flash programs etc. on my website
so I was thinking maybe with the extra flash it was
hosing it up. Not sure.

That could be Craig, I just copied/pasted to ten pages, didnt add anything worked great, so in your case that may very wel be the problem, what I was thinking to take care of that,I've seen sites with 2 menus on it, maybe spliting your 7 to 10 menu buttons in half, I don't know if that would be an option for you but thought I'd throw that out there. Now I have to try adding vids and other flashes to try it, now I'm curious lol.
UPDATE: I added some flash like a video player, 2 rss feeds, some music, and it put a bit of a drag on it but not enough to stop it from loading took about a sec and a half. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"
