I havee to assume there is a way to create menu buttons with the CC software package ?
I have all the programs and am trying to create buttons for the Menu (IE: Main, Page 1, Page 2, etc).
How do I do this ?
I've tried working some with the text feature but this doesnt really give a good graphic look and its near impossible to make all the buttons the same size, text in same position, etc.
Help please ....

First off: which CC software package, Visual Site Designer or HTML Editor?

I have all three packages: Developer, Designer and Utility so I have all 29 CC programs.
Patrick,
CoffeeCup once had a button factory program, but not now. There are buttons available in the programs you purchased. Look in c:/program files/CoffeeCup Software/CoffeeCup Flash Menu Builder/buttons to see lots of buttons.
Download GIMP, bring in a button you want to use, save it as home.png, add a text layer, and enter HOME. Then move the layer until you have the word where you want it.
It may take longer to do the first one or two, but then it will become easy. Bill R.

Hi Patrick
My preference is using the Flash Menu Builder, you can insert as many menus on a page as you want without any problems, but you may also want to look at the DHTML menu builder as well. Both have a great use of design you can edit. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

Okay, so the real question is how to create graphic images to use as buttons? Wasn't clear to me from the original post.
If you're using VSD, for example, you can use the objects tool to create many different shapes, all good for button use, and add various effects (including text) to jazz them up. You can also use the guide lines to line them up exactly, and the object dialog box to enter their exact size. I agree graphic images still make the best buttons, but there are other options, again depending on which actual application you're using to create the web pages. A "button factory", yea that would solve my problems ... I'm on the trial version, trying to see if I can build a knockout site, and I have to make my own buttons?
If I wanted to be a graphic artist, I would have gone to school!
I take it there are no predefined buttons in the program then?

That's what I'm wondering too. I'm new to this and testing out CC HTML Editor & CC Visual Studio because the last product I tried only had pre-determined buttons w/text in the templates I wanted to use.
I can create my own buttons in CorelDraw or something, but why can't I just have maybe blank buttons and change or add my own text without trying to make sure every one is lined up the same?
This was my stumbling block to making the purchase on the last software, I hope there is a simple solution in CC. www.pastordrew.com

There are 36 free VSD templates you can download, most of which have custom buttons you can copy and add your own text to.
