"Skin" the user login screen

Hi,

Is it possible to customize the user login screen so that it requests certain information before it will instigate a connection to the chat server? I'm basically looking to try and force a valid email address and a company name. I'd like the operative server side to be able to see this level of information in the right hand side column of the chat window.
