I spoke to coffeecup and they do not know when they will be able to fix it so I am asking around to see if there is anyone that has found a fix for this.
When someone exits the live chat area, the admin counsel keeps receiving notification that the particular person wants to continue chatting when they are logged off. I click quit this chat or I log off and log back on but it continually beeps saying they are trying to connect. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Tat,
I don't know how to fix your problem, but I have a question or 2.
Is it a private chat or public?
Does the text from the previous chat still show up? "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

It is a privet chat and the text does not show up just the user name.
Thanks

I see what your saying Tat, have you tried clearing your cache file/temp files after using it? maybe that can help. meanwhile I'll keep seeing if there's anything else to try.
"It's A Smart Person That Asks"
I will give that a try. Thank you for the info and the help.

I have a little 'unlinked' experiment up, that I haven't spent too much time with..,. go play around with http://chipsontheweb.net/Box111/live/live.html
and see how the 'clear discussion' button works for you.
I'm aware of one fallacy with it, but it's just a baby idea right now.... make up your own id, etc and enter a line or two and hit clear.... whatever...
be interested in any feedback.
Mike
I think... therefore, I'm in a mess....

I have the same issue. It would be wonderful if your "clear discussion" button was just a log out button that cleared this out... so that the residual ring backs stop.... this button could just return the visitor to the website hompage!?!
Let me know if you get this 'baby idea' functional... I would like to stop this as well... without the need to clear cache each time a chat is over.
Thanks, Wayne
