My Live Chat works great. It's a public chat room.
For the first time, I saw that there were some messages disappearing from the top (the first messages, that have been on there for weeks now).
Is there a timeframe on that? Or is based on the number of messages on the board?
As additional info: I have it public so posters can say whatever they want. Then when we have an on-line meeting, I'd just wipe out what was on there. And we could start on a fresh page. (I know I could do it private, but I'd like to try it public).
So anyway, I thought I better ask in case the disappearing messages are based on the number (of messages). Because we could be chatting for a while. I didn't want to be surprised and see the first messages deleted.
Thanks.

I think it should clear once everyone logs out

The chats should automatically delete when the window is closed. This information usually goes to the server and delete's the temp file that holds the chat. In the event that the chat doesn't delete, in the same folder as your chat is a .txt file that you can delete to clear the chat window.
My malfunctions also and does not auto delete. I have contacted my hosting company to see if they know why.
Maybe an option to delete the chat log manually from the program would be a nice option.
Another suggestion I guess. My sites: www.cedarstreetchurch.org, www.lojope.com and www.dteu.info
