Hi, big question here, well maybe not that big. I have a web project ongoing, onthe7thday.net, using coffeecup HTML editor and resposnsive CSS.

The problem, I noticed my folders do not populate with previous files after opening the editor, most of the files show up. If I make a change to the index, upload that change any missing file gets removed from the server.

I do keep my files on a cloud for easy access with laptop or tablet, laptop windows 7 and tablet windows 8.1, this happens on both OS versions, I can refresh each folder, but that doesn't always work. I look into my folders and the files are there. I am basically double working myself sometimes, and shouldn't have to babysit software. If this is a cloud issue, then why do we have clouds :)?

Any ideas as to why this maybe happening would be helpful.

Something I should mention.

The folders that do not populate with some files are in the coffeecup HTML editor my website pane on the left.

Example: I create a contact.html page last night. Open the editor today and the contact.html file was not there in the left pane with other files, however, it was in the source location which is on the cloud. It just did not populate when I opened HTML editor.

It sounds like your folders are mixed up between different user accounts. Are you using your pc as the admin?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

No sir, single user. All the files are in one location on the cloud. However, odd enough the files populated this morning no issue. Twice I opened the project up from the editor or from the project file itself with the files not populating, no they are. Does the editor make the files available offline automatically or do I need to do each one myself.

The editor only downloads files you select and manually download. Some users go to the server tab dbl click the file to download it and open it in the editor at the same time. Then when you save it it should upload the new version for you.

His problem may be the 'cloud' storage. I've never tried that myself so I'm not sure if that's it or not. It may not be finding his files right when he re-opens the editor. I think I'd open a support topic and talk to CoffeeCup direct. They may know more about using cloud storage.
