People still use Vista? ;)

I dusted off my copy of Vista and tried it here and didn't have any problems. Vista of course alerted me 4 times with the "Windows needs your permission" thing (great security). Once I approved that, it worked. Have you tried right-clicking on the HTML Editor icon and select Run as Administrator to see if that helps?

Ran as adminstrator. Got pop-up that validation done.

Tab in Firefox opened with URI
file:///C:/Users/Tom/AppData/Roaming/CoffeeCup%20Software/CoffeeCup%20HTML%20Editor/~validate.html

and the attached screen image.

I have an up-to date Win 10 machine. I can try on it if I can install the editor on it. Will my license allow this?

Installed on clean Win 10 machine and everything works advertised. Must be accumulated cruft on my 6 year old Vista machine.

Thanks to all who helped.
