I have created this site in RSD, I've gone to validate it but it comes up with this error:

Is there a quick and easy fix? or should I just leave it as it doesn't appear to effect the site.

It won't load in the validator for me.
You do have an extra <meta charset="utf-8" /> to remove.

You also have two footers, one inside the other one, see line 278 - 279

You could change the inner one to just 'div class= etc...' When you do, remember to change where they end too.
And the first error should be easy to eliminate, just give the logo.png an alt tag.
