I have recently purchased VSD, Form, Button, Menu and HTML Editor products. I know very little about web development and am just learning HTML. :( I am volunteering with a local charity to help them upgrade a very dated web site.

I need to modify an existing website created in VSD but the original files are no longer available; i have the HTML files. I have several pages on this site where the text is much to long. I plan to create a few new pages for most of those issues but I want to add, where needed, a "Read More" button which opens a "pop-up text display". This added display need a close button so when the viewer is done reading they can continue with the original web page as before.

Can you help me?:)

Several ways to do what you need. This is one example... http://progrower.coffeecup.com/showhide.html

Here is another ... http://progrower.coffeecup.com/popup.html

Or you might try an accordion ... http://progrower.coffeecup.com/accordian.html

All of these work fine in VSD.

Gunsmoke,

Thank you. It looks like the accordion solution would be best for me. I downloaded and unziped the file but the contents are not the same as listed . The contents include header.gif, header_over.gif, slider.css and slider.js. Three files listed on http://progrower.coffeecup.com/accordian.html are not included, they include: jquery-1.10.2.js; jquery-ui.js and jquery-ui.css.

Which list of files is correct?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
